Who do we serve?

East Bay Care provides care and services to qualifying adults with intellectual disabilites.

Who is eligible?

Adults (18+) within the Regional Center system who have a primary diagnosis of an intellectual disability. 

What is our level of care?

Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/ID)
This Medicaid benefit provides health care and rehabilitation services for people with intellectual disabilities. ICF/IDs offer 24-hour supervision, health care, therapies, activities, and training.  

Can my loved one attend the day programs without living in an East Bay Care home?

Yes! Your loved one does not need to be a resident in one of our homes in order to attend our day programs. We offer door to door transportation from many areas throughout the East Bay area. Company vans transport participants from San Lorenzo, Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton and San Ramon, Union City, Hayward, and Castro Valley. 

Who pays for our services?

Homes are paid for by MediCal through Alameda Alliance.
